On November 22, 2021, the Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region Department of Industry and Information Technology jointly announced the second batch of autonomous region's "Specialized, Refined, Special, and Novel" SMEs in 2021, and Guangxi Zhiguang Furniture Group Co., Ltd. and Zhiguang Furniture (Xiangzhou) Co., Ltd. were among them.
What are "Specialized, Refined, Special, and Novel" SMEs?
● "Specialized", meaning specialization.
● "Refined", meaning refinement.
● "Special", meaning specialization.
● "Novel", meaning innovation.
Actually, "Specialized, Refined, Special, and Novel" is not a new concept. In the early days, the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology first proposed in the "Twelfth Five-Year Plan" for SMEs to "take 'Specialized, Refined, Special, and Novel' as an important way for SMEs to transform and upgrade". It is understood that "Specialized, Refined, Special, and Novel" SMEs refer to SMEs with the characteristics of "specialization, refinement, specialization, and innovation", and the scale of the enterprise must meet the provisions of the national "SME Classification Standard". Generally speaking, most "Specialized, Refined, Special, and Novel" enterprises come from the manufacturing industry. At present, China's manufacturing industry is gradually moving from "three lows and one weak" (low added value, low technology content, low quality, weak Brand) to "three highs and one strong" (high added value, high technology content, high quality, strong Brand).
The cultivation of "Specialized, Refined, Special, and Novel" SMEs in this context essentially guides SMEs to develop in the field of innovation. Since the emergence of the concept of "Specialized, Refined, Special, and Novel", the central government has successively issued a number of policy documents supporting the development of "Specialized, Refined, Special, and Novel" enterprises. The Politburo meeting on July 30, 2021, raised the "development of Specialized, Refined, Special, and Novel SMEs" to the national level for the first time.
