The first comprehensive conference on connecting the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area construction and Qintang District's industrial development was held on July 24. Themed "Sharing New Opportunities, Implementing New Concepts, and Building a New Pattern," the conference aimed to deepen dialogue and exchanges between Qintang District and the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area, focusing on open areas such as investment attraction, industrial transfer, and platform cooperation, actively connecting with the Greater Bay Area construction, and accelerating the high-quality development of Qintang District. Mr. Li Zhiguang, Chairman of Guangxi Zhiguang Furniture Group, was invited to attend.
In the industrial cooperation dialogue, Deng Lu and representatives of excellent entrepreneurs from various industries conducted an in-depth dialogue and discussion on the industrial cooperation between the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area and Qintang District. Qintang District's industrial advantages, business environment, service quality, and development potential were affirmed by the entrepreneurs. Wang Bing, Executive President of Sophia Home Furnishing Co., Ltd., who visited Guigang for the second time, said that Qintang District has a good geographical location and advantages in the wood industry, and he is optimistic about its future development. Li Zhiguang, Chairman of Guangxi Zhiguang Furniture Group, also stated that Qintang District has a good foundation in the timber industry, relatively complete furniture manufacturing supporting facilities, and convenient transportation. He plans to build an export-oriented production base in Qintang.
This year, Qintang District introduced Dongguan Humei Industrial Group Co., Ltd., a company from the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area, to invest in and construct the Hemei Qintang Humei Four Seasons Pastoral Complex project. The project has a total investment of 420 million yuan and mainly constructs an agricultural science and technology museum, a silver artificial beach, a farming culture park, and a wedding photography base. The first phase of the project is planned to be put into trial operation during the National Day holiday this year. Zhou Hua, general manager of Dongguan Humei Industrial Group, stated on the day that the project construction is currently accelerating, and the company will build this pastoral complex to a high standard and high quality. Through cultural and tourism revitalization, it will promote the transformation, upgrading, and improvement of Qintang District's cultural tourism, and promote rural revitalization.
Guangxi is adjacent to Guangdong, Hong Kong, and Macao, and is connected by sea and land to ASEAN countries. It is an important channel for the Greater Bay Area to develop inland and a key link in the upgrading of economic cooperation between the Greater Bay Area and ASEAN countries. Qintang District is located at the geometric center of the China-ASEAN Free Trade Area and the Pan-Pearl River Delta Economic Zone, where national strategies such as the Pearl River-Xi Jiang Economic Belt, the Western Land-Sea New Passage, and the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area converge and radiate each other. Wei Anning, Secretary of the Qintang District Committee, stated that Qintang District will adhere to the idea of great liberation to promote great development, actively benchmark advanced and developed areas, strengthen open leadership, focus on factor guarantees, seize strategic opportunities with actions, and promote quality, efficiency, and dynamic changes in the economic development of Qintang District.
